Buffalo Tempest training camp winding down.

The 2025-26 APHL regular season is nearly upon us as the Tempest finish their preseason.  on October 4th, the Tempest will make their way to Thousand Islands to take on the Raiders for their only pre season game of the year.

Last season, the Tempest wound up winning the Governor's Cup with an incredible run.  The Tempest had big season from their top scorer, Spencer Hrynczak, and Andrew Logar.  Their captain, Kyle Granville, also had a monster year with 54 points in only 14 games, leading the league by nearly 20 points to that point.  However, his season was cut short due to injury, and he is still on IR.  With losing Hrynczak, Logar, and having Granville out, new faces will need to step up to provide the offense.  Their offense will seemingly run through Jason Melanson.  After a 60 point campaign in his rookie year, Melanson will look to take the league by storm, yet again, in hopes for a call up.  Jesse Keicher will also be providing offense this season as he returns to the organization.  In his rookie season, he only played 5 games but put up 4 assists.

Don't miss any of the action this season as all games will be streamed on YouTube, and their home games streamed on the Buffalo Tempest YouTube page!
